What has been the greatest journey you have experienced?

I have a love of traveling, I have a love of experiencing, I have a love of learning. I have been lucky enough to keep my life fairly filled with these things, and have so many stories to tell! What have been yours?

Learning about and growing in Jesus, and learning more about who I am.  It's amazing how at one moment in life you think you understand something so clearly and then your mind and comprehension expand and deepen to previously seemingly impossible levels. Looking back, I can see where God has done a lot of work in my life and I'm glad He did. We could all live for trillions of years, and learning, developing, understanding, and discovering would never even be close to being complete because there is no end to these things.

Learning who I am as a person, what my opinions and beliefs are, and where they fit into the world. Learning about other people and their religions, beliefs, opinions, views. Finding where I fit in all that.

Learning to stand up for myself, and who I am.  To be proud of who I am, what I represent, who I love and my family. To not give two rats what other people think of me, as it takes too much energy that is better spent making the world a better place.

It's not been the easiest of journey's but I've walked a long way in my shoes, and I'm not turning back now.  My journey is about making the same journey easier for those coming behind me - be it others in the present, or my children's journey, or my children's journey.  If I can be a part of ridding the world of inequalities, for my children, or my children's children...or even a child in today's society - then I've completed my purpose.

Though, at the same time, I've learnt a heap, and I would love to learn more.

I have been able to experience many journeys that are very dear to me. One of them would be buying my own home, which is something that at one point in time, I never imagined possible. I am content with my life and have grown into someone that I am very proud of. I don't know of many people ( that  I know personally) who are my age and at the point that I am in my life . I am very blessed.

My greatest journey has been life. I have been many places and seen many things. I am amazed that I am still here to be completely honest. I have done things that I regret, and things that I am proud of. During my life I have faced many, many battles only to see God bring me through; not unscathed, but alive. Praise God. That part of my life is behind me and now I am ready to start a new journey and see where God leads me. I am his now and forever.

Parenthood.  If you are a parent I don't think there is any need to elaborate. lol

I felt the need to elaborate - but you're right - no need.

Surviving some unnamed personal events only to find myself immigrating to another country for love.

My greatest journey thus far is life but within that is the journey of self-discovery, the journey of outward discovery, travel, experience, love, life...
Everything we experience, I think, is a journey to explore and to live within as in the moment and is beautiful in each of the ways it presents itself.
