How can Christians who won't forgive others expect God to forgive them?

Many Americans equate patriotism with being a Christian or loving God. Which is more important - patriotism or obeying God's command to love one another.

Wow! You are keeping it real. I have tried to think of forgiveness as "forgetness." Some things you just can't forget.

There are patriotic people who do not believe in God.

John 15:13 "Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one's life for one's friends."

This is what a real patriot is willing to do.

Therefore, there is no difference between the patriot and God's commands concerning love of thy neighbor.
