What do you do when people mistreat you or those you love? Does the fire of anger boil within you, with leaping flames consuming your emotions? Or do you reach somewhere, to some source of cool water and pull out a bucket of mercy-to free yourself. Is there any emotion that imprisons the soul more than the unwillingness to forgive?
Don't get on the roller coaster of resentment and anger. You be the one who says, yes, they mistreated me, but I am going to be like Christ. I'll be the one who says, forgive them, Father for they don't know what they are doing.
The first step toward forgiveness is to see the other person as a human being, not as a source of hurt. That's how God treated us with mercy-he became one of us, he felt as we feel, he understood our frustrations. And as a result, when he hung on the cross, he could look at those crucifying him and ask God to forgive them.
When you forgive someone, you are as close to God as you ever will be, because in that forgiveness you are demonstrating the very heart of God, the merciful King. If you want to draw closer to him, then forgive someone who really needs to be forgiven. Don't be the one that holds the key to that bondage by resisting by not doing the right thing.
Matthew 6:12-15 Forgive us for our sins, just as we have forgiven those who sinned against us. And do not cause us to be tempted, but save us from the evil one. Yes,, if you forgive others for their sins, your Father in heaven will also forgive you for your sins. But if you don't forgive others, your Father in heaven will not forgive your sins.
Colossians 3:12-14 God has chosen you and made you his holy people. He loves you. So always do these things: show mercy to others, be kind, humble, gentle, and patient. Get along with each other, and forgive each other. If someone does wrong to you, forgive that person because the Lord forgave you. Do all these things' but most important, love each other. Love is what holds you all together in perfect unity.
I realize you have upset many however as a Christian and a sister in Christ I forgive you.
If you want to talk about the Lord since you are a Babe in Christ, don't come off so strong
and always ask yourself WWJD? we cannot push our beliefs on others and we can forgive those who may not always understand. Our World is made up of so many religions and we must understand each other, as that is what makes the World go round.
No, now that is one that is hard to forgive as he has threatened to take our son and he says he knows where we are, when I do not give him attention he changes up and tries to get my attention. My e-mail had all kinds of goodies in it, so I contacted the authorities and gave his e-mail address and all of the messages. You are the terminator so what else should I do? He became a fan on my fan base and I hope that HP removes him as he honestly scares me.
I was just kidding. I am sure it is not fun.
Not sure there is much you can do about it though. I have had a few threats myself. Plus I have had a couple of my own sites hacked.
But if you don't see the irony..... Especially after you have twice accused me of being nasty when I was just stating that there is no such thing as god and the bible is worthless unless you actually live by it.......
Your kiddiing, someone was actually doing that to you? That happened to another lady on hp too. It's been so long so I forget what her hp name was but she was awesome she used to write about rubber chickens. Fun hubber but long gone since she was stalked.
I am not going anywhere, check out Happy Duck on the 182 bill if I do not play he becomes creative and makes remarks. I do not have any idea who he is and I have reported him to the authorities. He is stuck on my fan base and I hope HP removes him as he is a Psycho. I flagged him 8 times but it is still there, so I don't know what else to do, if they removed him from my fan list I would feel much better.
Well, whatever I may think about the christian double standard - this is pretty un-professional behavior from an agent of the law. Identify yourself.
Better than Dallas this
I suggest we all ignore the troll, and just report the post to stuff. He will thrive on attention, positive or negative does not matter
Mark Knowles and I quote:
Well, whatever I may think about the christian double standard - this is pretty un-professional behavior"
And what shall we call your behavior? Got alot of room to talk there big boy????
Oh I forgot.... sssshhhh, I won't tell.

Why do many Christians say that others will face their judgment day?I have been torn by the word forgiveness and judgment. If you where to stroll over to my profile you will see that I write a lot of Christian "stuff" however I cannot figure out why many hard core believers love to say...

How hard or ease is it for you to forgive someone who has done you wrong?I am not perfect by any sense of the word, but for me forgiving others comes ease. And I don't stay angry very long. I would hope that others would find it ease to forgive me if I had wronged them.

How can Christians who won't forgive others expect God to forgive them? Many Americans equate patriotism with being a Christian or loving God. Which is more important - patriotism or obeying God's command to love one another.

We know that we will be better off if we forgive all of those things and and all of those people that have caused us pain....In this thread, ask for or give forgiveness. You don't have to give specific in details if you don't want to.I ask that Christians who have hurt people be forgiven.

Can you forgive a man who has raped you?Emotion is impermanent just like everything else in this world. Nothing lives forever. Just like happiness - anger & hatred may not last forever as well...I believe it wont be easy to forgive a rapist but would it matter after 30 - 40 years of the...
