You came to wrong place! Consult with the minister of your church.
No, s/he came to the RIGHT place - a place where many believers KNOW that God indeed exists and KNOW the life-changing experiences of having a relationship with God. S/he's in the right place, friend. God bless you all...
To live as a Christian you have to of course except Jesus Christ into your heart for what he has done for you and ALL of us. Read your Bible, strive to live as pleasing to God as you possibly can; although we all fall short. Pray, pray, and then pray some more. The more you study your Bible, the more you will understand your question my friend. And DO NOT listen to the atheists on here. They consume this site!!
"And DO NOT listen to the atheists on here. They consume this site!!"
...seriously dude? Wow.
Slittleshafer, maybe you should also beware of people who believe things without evidence and condemn others who choose to use reason...hint, hint...JThomp, what is it you don't want him to hear?
You people could care less about this person's interest in becoming a Christian. But, just as I said, atheist swarm to the mention of the word. Why even bother commenting? You cannot tell how to live like a Christian.. because you DO NOT BELIEVE.
JThomp42, very well answered...
However, I will not comment on the remark about athiests. While an atheist lacks revelation, they should be prayed for but not provoked, as that is of the enemy. God bless all of you...
Out of curiosity JThomp42 what is it you pray for, that you couldn't just go out & do something towards?..If everyone who prays actually did something towards what their praying for, everyone's prayers would be answered..But they don't, they pray
Don't pray buddy just "do" something, & try to make that a good something..Smile & be positive with everyone you meet, & don't let anyone push you around..Help people if you can, & benefit from the great feelings you will get back, like pride & knowing your a guy that cares..It doesn't matter if you have no special talents or skills at all, being nice & helping other people & then feeling how great it feels back is what it's all about..The more you do that the more you will know what it's all about, because reading it in the bible etc is only "getting it" intellectually..We don't realise anything intellectually we have to actually "do" what we preach through our life, before we realise anything..Or to put it another way our mind never realises something, in my opinion our sub conscious is the part that realises something..So once you've read what your supposed to do or how your supposed to be living, your then supposed to do it until you "realise" it in your sub conscious..In my opinion that's where all religion fails, because there's too much "stuff to read", & that doesn't leave a lot of time to practice what we read/preach.
How can you say not to pray and read the Bible? Do you believe we must accept Jesus into out hearts? If not.. I'm afraid your answer is just telling him to be nice??
"Don't pray"? Wow... I pray for you, son, I pray the Lord will reveal Himself to you as He did with Saul, in Jesus' name, Amen*
What i mean't JThomp42, & i never mean't any offence..Was that is it better to sit there praying, or is it better to get out there doing?..So i don't pray for good will to all & peace on earth, I'm out there trying to do what ever i can towar
First, knowing that Jesus Christ is the Son of God (John 3:16).
Pray for forgiveness of your sins, known and unknown, daily.
Have unshakable faith in His power, love, salvation, etc. - pray without any doubt.
Refer to Matthew 6:33
Ask God to bless you with revelation of His word - read the bible and ask Him to help you understand - His words go much deeper than what's written on the page. He's a very complex God but He will reveal to you exactly what you need in that very moment that you seek His guidance.
Try your best to always make decisions that you know are right. And if you don't know, just ask Him to show you - Psalm 119:33. But also know that as you build your relationship with God, His Holy Spirit will guide you and change you within. Just keep focused on prayer, communicating with Him, and seeking revelation of His word, i.e. the Christian Bible.
Refer to my hub (or as I prefer to proclaim "God's Hub".) You dont have to follow me or like or comment if you don't want to. I've recently begun posting but I believe 2 of those will be very helpful to you. I'll be posting more soon...
I'm praying for you. Don't allow anyone or anything to discourage you.
God bless you all...
I cannot tell you how to be a Christian, but I can serve and inspire if you wish to love God and live an exemplary life. Is this your question? Let me know. Loving thoughts.

think they can tell us(Christians) that How and What we believe is wrong? I know that I can admit when I am wrong, and that I don't know somethings. Have they shared in any of the experiences that a majority of US, have had in experiencing God? Are they the one's who are a part of Your relationship...

Why do so many people who call themselves Christians don't read their bibles? You know Jesus when things are going good than why don't you know Him when things are going bad. Imagine if you went three days without water what will happen to your physical body? Now ask yourself the same question what...

Suppose you died and woke up to face God and He asks you why you chose to believe a book that somebody wrote over and above the brain that you know is from God without anybody having to tell you? Would you then turn to that book, which tells you not to trust your brain, but rather trust the...

As a Christian, how do you respond to reports of UFOs and supposed alien abductions?

I am a Christian, and an American. I believe in the freedom to believe in anything you choose to (or not). What I don't understand is why Christianity is under attack.I don't necessarily believe in everything the "Church" teaches, but I don't bash other religions, and frankly,...
