   I am here to say that I will be interested to read the comments you receive from this very interesting question. I hope that you get many answers. As for myself, I am not psychic at all. Zero. However, given my life experiences, I do have very good instincts in certain areas. For example, I can see who is "authentic" and decent---and who is not. I would think it could be a quite a burden (at times) to be a true psychic....yet I also believe that a psychic individual, who is also a human being with integrity,  could be a definite force for good in this world. Fascinating question, Phoenix. I hope you get some true life examples.

      Lol. I said zero. I did dream that my child to be (back in the day) would be a boy and that someone I knew would die before her time, sadly, so...I'll change my answer to 2.

   Firstly, IMO, an ability means can be repeated, have some proficiency, and may become a skill set. With that in mind I searched the web for what are psychic abilities. I discovered a list at Wikipedia found here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_psychic_abilities Another list and an interesting article to read is at http://www.psychic-junkie.com/list-of-p … ities.html That list seems to be methods of usage as much as abilities. It is long seemingly comprehensive from A - Z.
   
   Reading over the first while only skimming the second I can conclude I have one - empathy. I may be able to speculate others, but don't think they are abilities. Better said is I have had experiences. For instance I have had to my thinking and feelings two distinct out-of-body experiences. Long stories. Anyway, that is a descriptor for astral projection / mental projection. Both of my experiences were not really induced by me consciously. They were induced by an agency like a result from a car crash. So, I don't think they are abilities.

   The first number that popped into my head was 69. But whether or not that is the correct number, people can have psychic abilities and still get this wrong. Mind reading is very difficult - I've only succeeded at it once and that was with a person I was very in tune with.
