It isn't a punishment as much as it might feel like that.  It is a soul who wanted to be part of your family but lived before this life in such a way as to be exempt from a need to actually live in times such as these.  Such children can be yours to raise to full maturity at a future time if you are ready to do so at that time.

God is saying that you are unfit to be a parent.  So heed his wishes and stop trying to get pregnant.

Everything bad in the world is the result of original sin.

Adam and Eve had no diseases, no broken bones, were immortal.

After they sinned of course; this is when death, disease, misscarriages, pain....All things bad entered the world.

It really has nothing to do with God allowing so much as it has to do with living in a fallen world and witnessing the product of original sin.

Our lives are going to be filled with things like this because by an large we live in a fallen world.

Only GOD would really have that answer.  I could only guess and my guess would be it is possible that in the womb of the mother that soul had a change of heart and decided not to come to this world.  Since GOD is gracious GOD honors the wishes of the unborn children.  Hopefully the children get to go back to heaven.

    Best wishes.

My understanding of Scripture suggest that God has nothing to do with miscarriages though unfortunately He always gets the blame. Many do not fully comprehend the Great Fall and what it really meant. It involved more than Adam and Eve being punished and put out of Eden, the sin permeated all creation. Nothing exist in the world as we know it that was not effected and thrown out of kilter by the Great Sin. This is the reason for many of the anomalies we experience in a variety of ways including natural disasters.

We are co-creators and all of us need to have permission to join this world.  Your child may have decided it wasn't time for them to come into this world at this time.  Maybe your body wasn't ready to house a child.  It isn't all up to God, but up to you as well and of the child.  God lives within you and he shall never leave you so says it in the Bible.  When a woman gets pregant the very first thing the body does is considers it a virus and tries to rid the body of it.  That is in every single case.  It is a wonder how there are so many pregnancis that get to full term.  We all learn and that is why we are here on this planet--to learn about ourselves through the help of others.  You be strong now and everything will work out for the best of everyone, including you.

That is the big question, isn't it? If you choose to remain a believer, you may found the answer in the book of Job. In essence, God does as he chooses and the reasons will always be beyond us.

A simple way to rationalize this is comparing God to a loving father, and us to very little children. Little children do not understand why their father won't let them have their way all the time. They don't like getting their hair or their nails cut, but their father does so anyway, ignoring their fussing and crying. We must blindly hope that it's for the best.

Maybe our idea of what exactly is God is mistaken.
