   To believe or not to believe is a choice. There is one thing common whether they believe or not. They find peace within themselves, and they no longer have a need, nor a desire to change the outside conditions or impose their values on others.
   
   They have looked inward and have passed the most tortuous tests a man can undergo without going insane and have found what the sages have been trying to teach mankind for thousands of years.

   God's love is something that is ingrained in our spirits from birth. It's always there, but some people may have to get that revelation for themselves, as something God did for us personally by sending Jesus to die on the cross for our sins. I used to have it in the back of my mind that Jesus died for everyone else but when I started to seek God and become closer to Him, He filled me with his Holy Spirit and I have this beautiful knowing that He loves ME and sometimes it make me weep. I still don't understand why He loves me so much, but I am so glad He does.
   May I add one thing about "happy athiests"? I believe that there are unbelievers who seem happy and they may have a superficial happiness that this world will try to offer them by whatever they can do, buy or become, but Satan has decieved many people and lulled them into believing that we can create our own happiness. Maybe for a time, but true peace and happiness comes from God and Jesus who died for us. I think even athiest have a grain of truth in them that acknowledges God. Like I always say to athiests, "Dare God to show up in your life. If you don't believe, and God doesn't show up you can remain in unbelief." God is real, Heaven is real and Hell is real.

   God's love causes you to feel as though you're feeling God's love, sometimes though, good conversation, beautiful smiles from beautiful women, good beer, and good music cause me to feel as though I'm feeling the love of God, and because I tend to think that he'd creates such things for that purpose, that also causes me to feel as though I'm feeling God's love.

   So... if this so-called God somebody created the universe (we won't get into where did God come from?) then why did this loving God create a world where survival depends almost completely upon one creature killing then eating another and where survival is so difficult only the strongest, meanest, mother beating creatures survive?
   
   Why did the early church find it necessary to burn people alive to keep the faithful in line?  Sharia law requires they be stoned to death.  Both the Bible and the Qu'ran condone slavery.  Why does God think slavery is OK?  Oh... you didn't know about the slavery issue?  Best read your holy book.
   
   Why do you think atheists are not loving people?  I find them to be a far friendlier bunch of folks than the bloodthirsty Christians and Muslims who seem hell bent on killing everyone who doesn't confirm their delusional beliefs.
   
   I'm so happy to find there are so many intelligent people here on Hubpages who find the whole religious thing a complete horror show.

   Its like silent communication on the one hand,and experience from the affects and evidence of it to my spirit on the other.I need no material equations to measure His presence.KNOWLEDGE IS EVIDENCE,and "SPIRITUAL KNOWLEDGE OVER-RIDES SCIENTIFIC KNOWLEDGE.
   SPIRITUALITY HAVE NO DNA,BUT HAVE ACTION AND REACTION OF SPIRIT.

    Ever since the day I received Jesus as my Lord > Rom 10:9-10 and ask God to fill me with His holy Spirit, my life has changed.
    By my personal experiences with God and His power, interventions, first hand proof in my life that Jesus saves & of God's love. 
    Everyday salvation- Because Jesus through our faith and trust is always preventing, protecting, healing, us. Some instances are from life threating situations,&other stuff would be all the small stuff & God confirms His word through 2-3 witnesses, God will even use a stranger to bring confirmation, proving in another way He is God and all thing are possible with Him.
    God by His Holy spirit yet one more proof evident in my life of God's love & existence- God's Holy Spirit is not just a feeling and it isn't a rush of adrenalin or fantasy. When God's spirit comes apon my body or anyone else's it is a feeling like no other and undeniable. It is the very spirit of GOD that I can describe as like electric, very powerful, like surges of heat, heavy sometimes making me stand still, and also can cause a liteness as burdens are removed in praise&worship, not just I say it's gone and it is but a for real release.
    His power comes on me not this imaginary thing but actually God's spirit is inside my body& heals my sicknesses &I can only tell you this is another way that I feel &experience, and enter in and receive God love.
    Even when I make horrible mistakes and don't listen to God's warnings and I fall on my face- I go to God and ask to forgive me in Jesus name God's love proven.His spirit, The Holy Spirit is stirred up in me I can feel His love, He releases my heart from all guilt and shame and encourages me to trust Him more and I get back up.God has intervened in car accidents, healings, and healing of strangers while I prayed over them, God by His Holy Spirit speaking to me leading me has used me to talk to people that were about to commit murder, suicide and on their death beds and they so close to destruction &God love is so strong that he wants His people to warns the others so he can save them.
    God love is not just a feeling it is the very thing that has caused me to come alive, and see the lifeless come to life &be restored before my eyes. God love is real and He really loves us and that is why He warns us continually.

    There's no question. By just looking around at life, the world around us, the ways our body work. You have to think to yourself, wherever all this came from, it must have been a GENIUS!
    Think about it, how can a "nature" have intelligence? Does it have a soul, a mind, a brain?
    How does Nature know how to build a human body this perfectly, as to where everything works normally and as it should.

    Because God's love is within you. God's love is merciful and kind. It is the fruits of the spirit Gal. 5:22-23. God's love is what gets you through each by over powering the devil. Because nothing is more powerful then the word of God. Without God you would be nothing. Because He is your creator.
