None. They like sitting around in the dark.

Ooops, now I've lit the touch paper, I'm going to run away. Actually I'm off to work and I'll see what car crash of a forum this produces when I get home. O:-)

At least an atheist readily admits they have no verifyable answers to those age-old questions of what are we, where did life come from, where are we going to, etc.

A religious person (of any religion) merely repeats polished phrases from a book(s) or from a dogmatic tradition, and insists that belief is an acceptible stand-in for verified knowledge. smile

Thread was a bait for atheists and whoever goes against thread starter proves their point.

Question was basically meant to offend atheists with christian assumption of non-believers are in dark. So this is just another BS of believers. Do i need to say TS is just preacher than serious hubber ?

I think this thread was another example of someone who can't accept the differences in others.
As a christian It angers me that things like this is the very reason I and other christians and our right to believe is mocked. I certainly hope you don't proclaim to be a Christian after posting a thread like this. very degrading to nonbelievers.

Don't worry! I know perfectly well what Christians to mock .
I leave others that I respect alone.

How many light bulbs are in a church that are not shining on people who need shelter from the cold?  smile

Without atheist there would be no light bulbs.

This statement is from the inventor of the light bulb:

"I have never seen the slightest scientific proof of the religious ideas of heaven and hell, of future life for individuals, or of a personal God."
"I do not believe that any type of religion should ever be introduced into the public schools of the United States."
"So far as religion of the day is concerned, it is a damned fake... Religion is all bunk."

It only takes one atheist to change a lightbulb.

There is not any rush to do it though, because atheists are not afraid of the dark.

I would think it would take quite a few. A team would have to research to figure out which type bulb to use. Of course they would need lots of funds to pay for the research so they would first need a fundraiser and people to gather the funds. Then someone would go and buy the bulb after months of research. I would say by the time they got around to changing the bulb, they would need at least half a dozen more to replace others that went out.

You sure you're not getting confused with your own lot.  You'd need to pass the plate around first to raise the funds.  That takes a whole congregation. No? smile

We don't use plates. We get so much money we need buckets to hold it all. tongue

It was only a joke. We have small bags that we pass around at our services. I will say that some goes to help feed and clothe children and some goes to missionaries.

CFL lamps are better in terms of environmental point of view. Candles/Bulbs are for theists to play focus pocus in the dark.
