What is your own idea or conviction of the Mark of the Beast and the Seal of God. Then how can one receive either of the two.

Just my opinion ...  by using the typical dream analization ,   the mark on the forehead would typify thought process or attitude, personality.

As an example ...  approx 15 years ago, my wife and I were in a neighbor bar sitting at the bar, sitting high up on the bar stool. A band was playing that night and the place was full of people Approx 100 people in a small room.

I saw three people migrating through the crowd, excuse me for thinking this, it appeared as though I could see evil pouting out from a place between their eyes.  Some women are attracted to this, cause they are looking for excitement.

On the other hand, some peoples eyes shine with peace and tranquility.

which brings us to the "Mark" on the hands. Would this not be a sign of those things that we do with these hands. Either for good or bad?
An auto mechanic might have grease on his hands while a butcher might have blood etc.

Thus the hands have much to say about the things that we do with them.

While a rose is pretty from a distance, when we pick it, we find the thorns.

Yes, this is similar to how I've always interpreted it, Jerami.

Even though there are translation issues, Scripture doesn't say that the mark is something that is given to us, does it?

Kinda like ...  I accepted the rock when I reached down picked it up, and put it in my pocket.

Like the mark appeared on my forehead due to my personal thought process.
My thought process which, it would seem, everyone is influencing to some degree no matter how hard I try to avoid it, it happens.

@ Jerami, I really like your interpretation of the mark and the seal. It is my thinking that credit cards could be a mark. The debt we owe to the cc companies could be to a person's end to having no debts. I as well think that the intergration of planting *chips* into our animals and children, in case they (pets) are lost or (kids) abducted. It is pretty terrifying for those who contemplate what this all means, now that we are in the last days. Thank you for your version. It doesn't seem so hopless. Blessings! smile

              Bless your heart.
Nothing is hopeless. No matter what we be thinking!
No matter what organized religion be "A" saying!!

The spirit of the creator is "A" talking to all of us!

The qyestion IS;  are we listening or are we distracted?

And I am not sure how much it counts if--in we are listening or not?

I'm "A"thinkin    that we are ALL goina end up in the same place no matter what we believe!!!!!    Only difference is how much debt we are goina have TA  pay after we get there.     I think?
                 or "smtin" like that?

The mark of the beast isn't a physical mark at all ,the mark actually is excepting the names of blasphemy . When the scriptures say they had the name written on their foreheads it's talking about your mind .See Satan is very crafty so if you think that people would be forced to get a physical mark to many would just resist that so he has to deceive you into believing a false doctrine plus false names in order for you not to resist. There is only one name under heaven which men can be saved by and that's using the messiahs true name not a translation . With a little research every lie that is told can be revealed by those that truly seek it and want to know the truth , I would say that 99% of Christians have already received the mark of the beast

You're calling me satan now? Is that supposed to be an insult?

I was simply asking you a perfectly valid question.

          How DO you know?

ha-Satan indeed is crafty, because it perceives itself as wise, but it is not.
The thoughts of a man are adverse to the true image he is.

Note also the Mark -as said retains names. Names are specific attributes humans apply to people or events. As in the names of G-d. He actually has no name(s). This shows a binding to the Law of Sin-Death, yes?

Note it is just a mark and not a seal.
Can a mark or strike be removed? Certainly.
Can a Seal be removed without breaking it? No.

Very crafty, to invert the six to a nine in your hub score. Had you not outed yourself on this thread we'd never have suspected.
