   Who is the most overpaid player in the NFL today?
   
   The Cowboys just signed Tony Romo to a six year deal worth $106 million, including 55 million guaranteed.  He is now the sixth highest paid QB in the league. 
   
   This is too much money for a guy who can play brilliant at times, but is inconsistent.  He has 1 playoff win in his career and usually plays poorly in big games.  He does not protect the football.  He threw 19 interceptions last year.  Elite quarterbacks know how to protect the ball.  Romo is not an elite quarterback and does not deserve this contract.

   I'm not sure if quarterbacks are worth all that money, but maybe they are. The teams with a franchise QB who is getting the big bucks are dead meat when their QB gets injured.
   
   Now Mike Wallace, that guy is not worth what the Dolphins are paying him. Unless he scores twice as many touchdowns as in previous seasons. Highly unlikely.

   As of his new contract, Joe Flacco is. He played well last season and won the Super Bowl by the skin of his teeth...he's very good. But how is he better than other first time Super Bowl winners from the last few years, like Eli Manning, Aaron Rodgers, and Drew Brees? Not to mention greats on their downside who can still go, like Tom Brady and Peyton Manning.
   
   Actually, Tony Romo, as you mentioned, is even worse because he hasn't done anything really. His team isn't even a contender.
