I do agree that beauty is certainly relative and based on perception. When it comes down it though, no matter what way you look at it, some people seem to be the type that most people would find "beautiful" and some people are the exact opposite. Surely, there is not one person everyone finds beautiful and that everyone finds ugly. Perhaps, my question is why certain people regardless or race, sometimes even having a bad personality, that have plenty of people still like them for their physical appearance? Some people are the exact opposite, even though they are kind most people can not manage to look beyond their appearance?
Substitute beauty for attraction, and you find evolution becomes involved. Men seek a partner who appears a good breeder: wide hips, large breasts, sensual mouth (which imitates a receptive vagina).
