Do you like the profile timeline feature in facebook? Why or why not?

Most people who are into social networking join facebook. Do you like the feature "timeline". They said that they are redesigning it.

It is nice. I think the best part of the timeline is the cover photo! The way all the posts are arranged could be better though. Now, it just seems scattered all over.

I don't like it. The timeline feature exposes the person for who they have been their entire life, not who they are now. Everything is in the open, nothing is hidden. I don't want anyone to know all of it.

I like Facebook Timeline because it provides a broad approach about a person and his activities and provides easy navigation about his activities from the date he was born and when he joined Facebook by providing a vertical navigation bar of yearly and monthly review of important activities the user had been into.

I strongly dislike it. I like the idea of the cover photo but why couldn't they just integrate that into the standard profile somehow? The way the page is laid out is also bothersome and I don't really even know where to look.

Fortunately mine hasn't made the switch, but I imagine it's only a matter of weeks until that time comes. It'd be nice if they gave you the option to choose rather than forcing you into something, which has become all too typical with Facebook changes.

I found the timeline messy and incoherent. Not a fan at all. Just looks a mess.
