Where is the best "bang for your buck" vacation getaway that you've experienced?
Honestly, I loved Aruba. It is such a relaxing place with really nice people. The weather is perfect with no humidity and the sand is always cool. The water is crystal clear and there are many great restaurants and nice relaxing things to do on the island. For an island that is only 19 miles long, they really have a lot to do. You can go on sunset sails, bus tours, ride horses, snorkel, skuba, etc. So much to do. I highly recommend it.
I would say thailand. Cheap accommodation, cheap food and great shopping....

try istanbul.
you will eat like royalty every day and pay so little, and super luxurious hotels are very decently priced.

I would say Thailand and Malaysia. Hotels there are very affordable and good quality. The food is inexpensive too and delicious!
