Joined 6 years ago from Texas
Writing from the heart of Texas, I address issues close to my heart and the hearts of Texans. Those issues include history, relationships, travel or whatever happens to come up that interests this former college professor.
Besides being a former college professor, I am a counselor by vocation with over 30 years of practice with all the experiences that came in those years, including those happening in hospital, out-patient, halfway house, treatment center, and family shelter settings.
In addition to teaching and counseling experience which are brought into my articles, my vita includes being the author of two award winning history books.
This variety of experiences have provided me with some unique and thought provoking perspectives on many topics and issues covered here at hubpages.
