As a single, homeschooling mom of 3 (10, 9, 6) I have become an expert in fields ranging from engineering ("Mom how do trains know to stay on the tracks?") to fine art ("Mom, look at the picture I just made for you on the kitchen floor!"). I enjoy reading, writing, playing freeze tag, cooking, preschool songs, walking, sewing, and tea parties, and if I don't fall asleep, I watch the occasional crime drama.

I graduated in 2005 with a Masters of Social Work from the University of Pittsburgh. Before kids, I spent over 10 years working with children and adults with disabilities and behavioral disorders. My primary focus was developmental delays and autism.

I currently work as a behavior therapist, providing services to children and families.
