Beautiful Pictures of White Horses

Updated on June 24, 2012

The White Horse Pics & More Horse Breed Pics

White horse breeds have to be some of the most beautiful of animals that carry an appearance of purity. That's why I've uploaded multiple white horse pics. Here I have a number of pictures of white horses that are attractive, rare, and unique looking. These are an assorted selection from my photo album for favorite pics of white horses. Let me know which white horse pics are your favorites of the bunch!

Did you know?

Technically speaking there is no such thing as a white horse, but actually these are grey horse pics and cream horse pics, since there is technically no such thing as a white horse breed.

The first white horse picture below is competing in a horse show of an equestrian style competition . Then, the second picture of a white horse is attending a horse riding class for preteens and young adults.

Gray Horses, Albino Horse Breeds, and Cream Horse Pics

The photo directly above is considered a Gray Horse while the horse below is identified as a Cream Horse rather than a White Horse or Gray Horse.

You may also notice that some of pictures of neither White horses, Cream horses nor Gray horses but are of Albino horse breeds as well. Albino horse breeds will have strictly pink, white, and cream pigmentations opposed to any other colors.

These uploads also include wild horse pictures, equestrian training, and albino horses.

there's no such thing as albino. Albino horses only live about 72 hours, most of these horse are dappled, flee bitten or are greys. White colorings, whether white markings, white patterns or dominant white are collectively known as depigmentation phenotypes, and all are caused by areas of skin that lack pigment cells (melanocytes).

This is a horrible article whit multiple factual faults.

      1. There is such a thing as a white horse (W), its true name is dominante white and is a mutation of the KIT genes (dashed horses).

      2. There is no such thing as albino on horses. Albino on horses doesn't exist so far.

      3. What is described as albino is instead a multiple of different color dilutions, such as CrCr, a double diluted cream, or ChCh a champange diluted horse and with different base colors you get some variations on the dilution.
