I am bring home a male kitten tomorrow (about 8-9 weeks old). I have 2 female cats, whom I adopted from the same litter. They will be 2 years near the end of March.
I've done some reading about introducing a new kitten to a cat. Was wondering if it will be much harder introducing a new kitten to 2 cats. Also, not sure of the process length, or when to know to move on and have them meet face to face.
Any tips would be greatly appreciated.
Oh, and at 3 cats, am I now among crazy cat ladies?
The female cats will love little Buster to death… Should be a blast. You might want to get a kennel cage and keep kitten in it for a while as they all check each other out for a few days.
After you let Buster out he will probably hide... let him hide… eventually he will be pouncing on the other two and swiping at their tails. They will teach him a thing or two and then eventually everything will be fine. Just don't freak out. Keep calm and observe.

I have 2 male cats and a female kitten. My oldest male who's been neutered is peeing on things. HelpThe males tolerate each other but aren't friends by any means. I've had the kitten for 6 months. I have 3 litter boxes. Why would he be peeing on things?

Does anyone here who has cats, know how to train a kitten to not jump on tabletops? We have had cats in the past, but it has been so long since we have had a kitten, and I cannot remember how we trained the kittens to not jump up on tabletops. If you have any suggestions, I would greatly...

How do you scold kittens and cats that works? We have tried water spray bottles, spanking, yelling, putting her in time out, rewarding good behavior, talking things out with her but she doesn't learn!!! We are out of ideas.
