    They say for a dog, for every one year of a dog's life, is the same as seven years for a human.

    Yes! zzron is correctly saying. If we grow up our dogs with correct nutrition and necessary medical treatment, we can have it up to 12 or 13 years. That can be compared with a healthy human life of 90 years.
