Do you celebrate your pets birthday? if you do, how?
our pet dog Henry has just had his 10th birthday and as we didn't expect him to still be with us,we celebrated his birthday! Other family and friends thought we were crazy and it got me thinking and wondering if we were the only ones do do this kind of thing!
No, I did not celebrate it ( now I do not have a pet ) , but I know some people that do it, and I do not think that they are crazy! I must also say that I do not celebrate any birthday, including my. So I am a special case!
Yes, our family does celebrate our pets' birthdays! We see our pets (dogs, cats, gerbils) as part of our family, and so we celebrate their lives with us.
For our dogs, we usually have a dog-friendly cake (no chocolate), and some gifts. They love to open presents! We do something similar for our cats--only making the snack and presents cat-friendly.
For our gerbils--I make a "cake" from snacks they like such as sunflower, pumpkin, and other seeds. I make sure to only give them very small servings and maybe some new toy for them to play with.
Celebrating our pets birthdays is a lot of fun for them and for us! And a great way to show our love for them since they are part of our family.
Yes.. sometimes pets is better than humans. So, its not a bad thing also...
We Sure do. I couldn't care what people think of us. Our pet is important to us and she is wonderful so its our way of saying we appreciate!
Yes!!! my dog is an American Staffordshire Terrier and on her birthday, NOvember 7th, we sing happy birthday to her and give her a peanut butter doggy ice cream! We have always and always will because our dog means the world to us and she is a part of our family:)
I always do or buy some thing for my cat he just turned 14. almost every year some one in my family gets him christmas gifts and b-day gifts. This year it was my b-day my family bought my cat a gift. I am the same way as alot of people my cat is a family member. He does get the same treatment as any one else in my family.
Yes, I give him special toys and treats. I took a picture of him with a birthday hat but he didn't seem very amused.
I celebrated my first pets birthday.
But he died on his birthday in 2008.
The cat I have now was adopted and we have no date on her.
She's so bad.... She doesn't deserve a present.
But we love her.

Pit Bull Terriers as Pets - Yes or No - and most importantly - WHY, especially if you answered yes?I personally am against having Pit Bulls as pets (especially for a family with children) for the very simple reason of “instinctive trait”. Pit Bulls were selected and groomed to be fighting dogs...

If a man remembers a woman's birthday (even after years), does that mean he really cares?I had a relationship with a guy when I was a teen, he left after 2 months following an advice from a friend. But we never lost contact, even when I was married with children and he in a relationship with...

What is your favorite way to celebrate a birthday...Whether it's your birthday or some one else's...I think we should never allow a birthday to pass without having cake or pie with candles to make a wish.
