My first pet's name was Louis Philippe...it was the handsomest cat on earth...I named it Louis after the lazy king of France since he was always lazying around..sleeping on top of the television with this tail hanging right in the middle of the TV screen...
My first pet was a black and white cat, and I named her pickels. She was an angry cat, but I still loved her.
My first pet, childhood friend, and the best dog ever (her nickname was "superdog") was a golden retriever that my family adopted when I was 2 years old. Her name was Megan and we were best friends until she passed away my sophomore year in college. I still have dreams with her in them where we're running on the beach or through the forest They're some of my favorite dreams.
My favorite memory with her was when I got my drivers license at 16. Since I could remember, I daydreamed about driving around in my car with Megan in the passenger seat with her head out the window. I knew it would be awesome. When I got my license, I made my mom drive me home so that the first time I drove on my own it was with my best friend in the passenger seat
For security reasons this question can not be answered )
Also my pet was a fish and it was not given a name
Growing up on a farm, my memory may be cloudy as to facts.
My first memory is of a white German Shepard dog, called Snow.
He stood at my Grandmother's clothesline, facing the cold north wind, and simply ...................died.
As a young girl, I could not understand why.
My Grandparents told me, he was an old dog, animals have a sense of death, he died proud, it was his time to go...............
45 years later, my mind vividly recalls that winter day......and the box my Grandpa built for him. I am sure he did this, to comfort me and not the dog.
A Red Devil fish named Fraymond. I named him after my dad- Raymond. The 'F' is for fish.
My first childhood pet was a black lab. He was already around before I was born, but I still consider him my first pet.

My first ever pet as a kid was a budgie named Jimmy. He was very talkative and was a real part of the family. We once left a tape recorder on when we went out and he was coming out with all kinds of funny things we'd never heard him say before. What was your first pet(s) and tell me something about...

What's the most unusual name you've given a pet?My brother once named our cat "Mody" (pronounced "Moh-dee") because it sounded like it had a motor running when it purred. What are some unusual names you've given pets?

I had a friend years ago who named their Llasa "Useless." Cute name, but not appropriate for this dog. This little thing was far smarter than both her owner and me. After a painful break-up in my 20's, I unexpectedly took over the care of a pup and named him Solo to...
