its usually found just under the skin. its a bunch of faty cells. you can cut it off, but usually its a sign of the body trying to get rid of unneeded or unwanted things. but even when cut of it can return.

I just had a knife slip about 1cm into the web between thumb and pointer finger. Have put a bandaid over it and seems to be not bleeding much but starting to sting.Any advice?
