   What are some cute names for male pups?  Sharik, means balloon in Russian.  When i had a pit bull bull mastiff mix.  Now my Friend is thinking, what to name her blood hound, any suggestions.

   You can give that blood hound dog nice names like Tiger, Apollo, Auggie, Bandit, Bear, Maurice, Max, Morris,
   Munchie, Oscar, Prince, Rocky, Rowdy, Sparky, Spike, Trouble,
   Fisher, Growler, Bender, Boris, Chipper, Crusty, Digger, Harley

   My favorite name for a puppy/dog is and was JoJo. As a small child we had an Alaskan Husky named JoJo. As an Adult, I had a great Dane (Blue) named JoJo. Both times the name fit him. I have now officially retired the name after the Great Dane died.

        Sorry to hear that, its the worst feeling in the world to loose a friend. My sympathy is with all who lost a friend. it's so much more than the name which stays in our hearts forever. I tried passing the name but every-time i said that name sharik, who i had to give up, brings that pup back and none can replace him. thanks for sharing. love all one.

   When I rescued my boy, his name was Buddy.  He wouldn't respond to that name at all and personally, I didn't like it.  I named him Hank, the first time I called heim he came running.  I guess I got lucky or he just like the name.  I go by the personality. Good luck choosing the perfect name for your Hound
