My dog doesn't eat raw meat. Is this Normal?
She's not fussy and eats just about anything except lemons and lettuce without dressing and she loves the meat when cooked. I would have thought that dogs would like raw meat!
I would think it would be a blessing~ Mine will eat it if left out on the counter and be sick for many days afterwards so I would prefer that they not like raw meat. Maybe she knows instinctively that she would have trouble digesting it~
It is not good for dogs to eat raw meat so you should count yourself lucky that your dog doesn't want to eat it.
That being said, it is never a good idea to give your dog raw meat. They could get worms or parasites or any number of things and it is not safe.
Animals are different just as humans, with different likes and dislikes. My now 17 year old cat drive me crazy being so spoiled and suddenly after all these years she eats like a pig four to six times a day; but I would never give her any raw meat.

Can I feed my dog raw chicken breast?Information on the web is scattered. Many insist a raw diet is good for the dog if done right, others insist that the dogs are just as likely as us to get sick (I would hate for my dog to get sick just as much as if I were to get sick myself).Opinions and...

I've heard a lot lately about eating "raw" foods and how healthy it is supposed to be. Does anyone know about this and how you'd begin?
