Fox is considered to be a cunning animal. Is it the same with wolves?

No. Wolves are canine and foxes are vulpine. To me, foxes have some traits that are almost feline. They are very quiet, kind of sneaky and tend to prey on the same animals & birds as pumas and bobcats do. They are less of a scavenget than wolves. Wolves are on clean-up duty & will gladly take over someone else's kill if they can.  There is only a passing similarity is appearance, even. Wolves being bulky and taller, foxes are slight in build. Pomeranian dogs remind me of foxes but there are not many dog-like characteristics in foxes.
