Turtle spends all the time outside the water. What's wrong with him?
My red slider turtle is two year old. He is very active, he is eating well, I don't see anything different about him except that seems to spending all days and nights outside of the water. He has being that for last days (more than five days since now). I have 4 others turtle (same ages) and I don't see anything unusual. Sorry for my English, is not good enough, I'm working on that.
It's probably nothing to worry about with the Red slider turtle, I previously kept Atlantic turtles and they sometimes need to be dry docked for weeks in order to properly recover although they would dip in to the water to eat and drink.
So as long as your slider is eating and drinking okay their is probably nothing to worry about, although if in doubt take him to the vet only they can properly asses the health of your turtle.
