How many ways can your pet be injured while traveling in your vehicle.
It jumps out of a moving vehicle and is injured.
The car is in an accident and the pet slams against a barrier in the back of the car or a car seat. It lacks the protection of a seat belt.
Yes, I have found that a seat belt is the best way to secure your pet when traveling. The only negative, and of course this is hypothetical, is if the car should ignite and driver unconscious. Hopefully a pedestrian would be nearby to assist both.
