Read Ravi’s article on just how significant cats really are and how they saved the world from ecological disaster. Here is the link  https://discover.hubpages.com/animals/o … -the-world

I was happy to do so, Ravi. I’ve always loved cats for the truly remarkable animals that they are and your article really brought their amazing capabilities out. It is very sad how mankind’s manipulation of nature frequently backfires and causes disasters on such a grand scale. Rachael Carson wrote a book entitled “The Silent Spring” about how DDT was killing off all the birds and since most birds prey on mosquitoes and other insects, it was causing an ecological disaster in the U.S. Her book had such an impact that it helped get DDT banned here as well. Thank you for your very informative and interesting article!

As always, Ravi’s article is very interesting and informative. I think the the first paragraph may need to be modified to avoid annoying cat lovers, though.

Quotation marks around the word useless in the title as in the text may help, and the elimination of the phrase “Aren’t they?” may also help.

I understand that Ravi is writing the first section to create a certain effect, but as a cat lover myself I found it problematic. The rest of the article is excellent, though.
