Add Colors and Life to your Hubs

Artwork using Microsoft Paint (MS Paint)

The Kind of Reader I am

I love to read, but I've noticed, I became more interested in reading one story or article when there are pictures or anything colorful that supported it. Then blogs came, the more that I enjoy writing especially when it expanded to allowing the writers to attached photos to support their blogs.

Hubpages gave me so much freedom as much as combining my passions are concerned. I do not only write in whatever style that I want, but also they gave me the liberty to lay out my story by attaching photos and artworks... I obviously enjoy hubpages.

It may not be a perfect piece of art but my original

Using Microsoft Paint to support my hubs, articles and stories

I have no formal educational background as far as art is concerned. I am a normal left handed who is fascinated with the sketches and drawing that I have seen in my coloring books, comics and magazines. My love for those art led me to try hard to learn the art in a simple way that I can do. I guess I can just do better than others who can only draw a person via sticks or circle figures besides I don't possess "pictographic memory" that is as powerful as those great artists out there, I still have difficulty sketching without a model; but the important thing is I am fulfilled in the part of doing the lay out of my own story.

Microsoft paint is another discovery. At first I thought it was impossible for me to learn it because I am a left handed person but I use my right hand in moving the mouse of my computer. But it's not about you being left handed or right handed, it's about the artistic inclination coming from one part of our brain, that dictates your hand how to do it. Drawing using a computer mouse on my right hand was not easy at first but practise and determination made me learn it. My output using my right hand is similar to my style and stroke in drawing using my left hand. Now we know why there are people without hands but can draw using their feet and mouth.

I enjoy giving life to my hub using my own work of art

Basic Information about Microsoft Paint

Microsoft Paint is always included in the Accessories portion found in the Program installed in your computer.(Press Start then all program then accessories). Paint has all the icons that represent all tools that a real painter may need.

An Excerpt from the help desk of paint

Using Paint

In this article

Paint is a program used to draw, color, and edit pictures. You can use Paint like a digital sketchpad to make simple pictures and creative projects or to add text and designs to other pictures, such as those taken with your digital camera.

Once you get used to MS Paint, you will realized that it is very flexible. You can combine colors, you can change colors anytime that you want. There are so many colors to choose from, when it comes to painting or drawing tools, just click the icon of pencil, brush, paint spray, fill. If you are contented with your work you can save it in Jpeg or bitmap, but here in hubpages it is adviceable to save your art work and pictures in Jpeg.

At paint too, you can convert photos in bitmap into Jpeg, just click the photo and look for the "Open" icon and click it, then choose "Paint".

Go check you MS Paint Help so you can learn it step by step though looking at the icons alone will help you learn it too.

My reason why my camera is as important as my house key

Photographs, my other medium to support my hub

The reason why I can't leave my camera at home is the possibility of finding a good subject to support my future hub and for my articles that I submitted to a Pet Magazine. I am a serious writer and I am very consistent with what I wanted in my hubs and article. I always want to support it with pictures or anything justt to add life to it.

I enjoyed the graphics in this article, especially the drawings. I too use graphics in most of my hubs; recently, a system problem beyond my control has prevented that, but that should be fixed soon. I publish a literary journal where I use clipart. You seem to be a keen writer, and I wish you luck with that! W.E.

These are really great! I have paint but am not very talented at creating pictures with it. You do a wonderful job, especially with your right hand!

I love hubs that have pictures in them and especially originals like yours.
