You make a continuous granny square by following the pattern until you make the square as big as you want. Do not finish off unless you want to change colors. Then you just continue with the pattern.
It's easy. Once you make the ring, then begin making the first row of single crochet stitches, join and make a three-stitch chain.This brings you up to the "next level". Keep crocheting as usual, with three more chain stitches everytime you have to go up a row. Have fun!

Using small size needle for granny squareI have been told by a friend that if I crochet a granny square blanket with 2 size small crochet needle, the "holes" will be very small. Is it true?
