What are your best tips for taking macro photography photos?

I am learning more and more about macro photography.  Do you have any tips to share as I and others increase in knowledge about this fun and interesting type of photography?

The best two tips I can give you are
    a) keep your camera steady - use a tripod or anything stable to support your camera. Any slight movement will be magnified in macro photography and will surely result in a blur
    b) make sure you have one clear focal point. It doesn't matter if the rest of the photo is blurred but there should be one clear and sharp focal point.

    Good luck and have fun!!!
