Art is for everyone. But only a few appreciate it directly. It is everywhere, be it paintings, fashion, music...art is there. So like it or not, art is for everyone
Yeah! What's the use of abstract art? hahaha Seriously, even a bunch of lines and aimless paint strokes can be considered an art nowadays. Art is a matter of self-expression so anyone can do it.
It is for everyone who can appreciate it. We often don't like what we see,hear, or read but it's there to be enjoyed by those who so wish.
