Harley Davidson Paint
Harley Davidson paint can be purchased individually special order from Harley Davidson themselves or from any good paint shop.
You may think the best paint to get (say if you just want to touch some bits up) is the original paint color from Harley, however this is not necessarily the case. The reason is paint fades and changes color over time, especially if it has not been protected, by weathering mostly UV rays from the sun.
However this is not as alarming as it initially sounds as professional paint shops will accommodate for this and be able to calculate your current paint levels from it's original, how old it is, and exposure it has had. Color charts will be held up to your present paint color and compared to find the best fit. In effect you will be painting on pre-aged paint to match the rest of the motorcycle. This is important for the best finish if you have a new motorcycle like the Harley Davidson Night Train, something older like the Harley Davidson Screamin Eagle. It is a bit more difficult if you have had a custom paint job in a non-standard paint color.
Custom Harley Davidson Paint Jobs
Of course if you are looking to paint your Harley then it might also be seen as the time to get a custom job done.
Why go OEM when you can get a hot custom look. It doesn't have to be some fancy Harley Davidson Chopper style either, a matte look can be fantastic on a slightly older Harley too, especially combined with the right style clothing with Harley Davidson Patches on and other custom motorcycle pieces.
