You mean how to select a used car? or new car?

If you want to buy a used car, First you have to pay attention to their mileages. read my articles, you will know why check mileages. High mileages usually are not good, especially if the rental company own it or some rich individuals own it. For this kind of high mileages car you can buy it. Also you have to  check the car history information. Hear the sound of the car, check it is right or not. And test drive it. Other factors , for example, color, style, brand, and others , you decide by yourself. if you have more questions, just ask me.

Reliability, MPG and speed. Things like cargo space are secondary.

Buying a car is always difficult, since a vehicle
is much more expensive than an item you use every day, so you consider what to
buy better. Not only the price of the car is important – many people find it

Look at resale value, fuel mileage, insurance rates and repair costs.

Always buy from the registered keepers address as detailed on the V5C/logbook – not from a car park, motorway service station, lay-by etc.Never view a car in the rain, in poor light or at night. You won't be able to evaluate the condition of the car effectively – water obscures scratches, dents and other problems. Make sure you can see the vehicle clearly and from all angles.

It depends upon the budget and selection of the cars.
    1. Budget
    2. Company of cars
    3. Number of members in family
All are very importance.  Worldwide Car Rental - Indigo Car Hire  http://www.indigocarhire.co.uk/
