    What was your first car?

Some people had the benefit of going big on the first car. Others go more modest. Which way did you go? Would you recommend it?

My first car was a 1966 Ford Mustang. I bought it used back in 1970. I wish I still had it.

1977 Mercury Cougar. Bought for $500, had an 8-track player, no celing liner, no door panels, and the electric windows didn't work. Intentionally crashed after about a year.

2002 Dodge neon that I named "The Champion". Bought it with 73,000 miles on it already, only expected it to get me through the first 4 years of college and it has lasted me almost 6 years. Its just dying on me now.

My first and only car is my 1993 Ford Explorer named "Froggy". She is green and for a while she kinda hopped when in idle. That thing has given me so many problems but I love it.

Fun question, my first was a Saturn LW300 station wagon with fake wood trim. I put an aftermarket JVC DVD player in the dash. It was a sweet cruiser.
