Do you always go the speed limit when driving?
In small towns, I do the speed limit. In larger cities, I will go up to 5mph over. On the interstate I will go up to 10mph over the speed limit, however I usually set my cruise control at about 7mph over. Am I pushing my luck? What do you think?
I do not drive the speed llimit. I find I drive too fast . Not good.
I'm not a hotrodder but do go with the flow of traffic. If everyone is going a bit faster, then it is better to keep up they say. It's even been argued that the faster more agressive drivers actually help the flow of traffic....of course that is until they go too far and cause an accident. Not advocating speeding, just thought these were interesting studies.
Inside the city limits I always try to going the speed limit. Outside the city limits I am a lead foot. I do the speed limit + 5 miles per hour on the freeway. Tickets can be very expensive.
Around the DFW area if you don't drive with the traffic flow they'll run you off the road.
The Frog
In (very) short, no.
However in school zones and neighborhoods I ALWAYS do.
I'm usually 5 MPH over maximum. I don't drive to fast because I don't want the extra drama of having to weave my way through traffic.
I also got two speeding tickets, about 18 months apart from each other, a few years ago. I would rather not donate my money to the California highway patrol retirement fund anymore.

Is it acceptable to break the speed limit in an urban area?I was mauled on facebook for saying that I thought people should be fined if they broke the speed limit.I think it is wrong, people's lives are at risk.I've done it in the past, and I was fined and got three points, but I was in the wrong...
