What is your preferred form of Motorcycle riding?
On-road, Off-Road, Dual Purpose, AdvRider, Knee-Dragging, Stunta, Drag Race, Daily Commuter, etc.
(Check out my break down of motorcycle disciplines, and let me know of any I missed.)
Just a dirt bike I ride in the woods for me. I used to have street bikes, but no more riding in traffic for me. The older you get, the easier your bones break when you hit the pavement. My buddy is limping around these days and has busted ribs due to dumping his monster machine.
I just like to look at pretty bikes. Another buddy has an old Indian he restored. 1937 I think. It's purple, but I don't think that's the original color. He said it's probably worth $40,000.
.............The type without the motor. A Cycle really doesn't need an engine! Please don't hate me. Tony
I have a road bicycle, of which I used for commuting to work, and have done the Seagull Century and the Rappahanock Rough Ride. So, I'm totally down with your program, but sometimes you gotta get to gettin' and lay down serious speed and/or mileage.
Motocross is my favorite but a woods ride is always fun too. Colorado has some great trails!

I tend to think motor bikes are safe, it is the actions of thoughtless drivers and sometimes carless riders are what is dangerous, my Kawasaki 250 has never been crashed and I have been riding it for almost 20 years.....

I cannot decide if they should be in Auto - Motorcycle Riding, Travel and Places, or Travel and places - road trips. Maybe I am over thinking it, as originally...

Is the Motorcycle Safety Foundation Course worth taking?A friend of mine took the MSF course and failed it. It cost him over $200 and he forfeited all of that. They tried to teach him how to ride a motorcycle (Honda Rebel 250) in just two days. Is it possible to learn how to ride in two days? Sure,...
