   I doubt my looks would add up to much of anything in the way of results were I bargaining or trying to sell a thing or idea.
   
   I'm not ugly, not at all, just not very memorable looking. Where I live in North Texas I'm pretty dang plain to the eyes. I'm related to a huge amount of persons around here. So there are lots of folks walking around who look like they could be cousins, because they sometimes are.
   
   But even were I living a thousand miles from where I was born, I don't think I'd be particularly noteworthy in appearance. I'm not tall, fat, especially mannish or feminine - just a regular looking dude of a common size from a common gene pool. I'm captain blend into the crowd.
   
   But sometimes people tell me they like the way I describe things. It happens. It happened yesterday even. No, I'm not talking about in a face to face conversation. I rarely even have those. I only really interact with the world on this newfangled thing they call the internet. I can't take it for granted. It's something newer to the cosmos than me, by God. And so I use it.
   
   I sometimes tell stories and people think I'm being hilarious or something, but I'm not; I'm just telling the tale I bore witness to.
   
   People keep insisting I should write fiction. I don't know where they could come away with the idea I have that talent. I never make up tales. I just try to explain the things I've seen in this world. I do it as well as I can, it's what a body has to do when he looks so un-remarkable and has the gift of an internet connection with which to socialize.
   
   But enough about me. The tongue is a double edged sword, and I've got to master it before it does me in. Good evening.

      I must say you are very descriptive and I agree with this statement "The tongue is a double edged sword, and I've got to master it before it does me in".  However, sometimes double edged sword is accompanied by a shield of looks which is prejudiced..
