New food scandal in China hits McDonald's, KFC and Pizza Hut
A new food safety scare has hit McDonald's, KFC and Pizza Hut in China after a supplier was caught selling the chains expired meat. The scandal may tarnish consumers' already strained confidence in China's food industry.
According to a reports in Chinese media, Burger King, Papa John's Pizza, Subway the coffee chain Starbucks and furniture giant IKEA are also customers of Husi Food.
IKEA has said it stopped using meat from the company last year and Subway also denied it uses meat from Husi Food.

Ok, now who's in the mood to eat pizza, hamburgers, chicken,or a hero? I didn't realize that these big corporations bought our food from China...how sickening and more of a reason to distrust them!
They don't. That food was bought for and sold by their China locations.

The American consumer is not completely safe from these practices...who trusts what these major corporations tell us?
Such food safety lapses occur every day in the industry -- the only difference is that this time someone was caught.

I dont know what country you are in but KFC in england is just like fast food and to me, fast food is rubbish. Too much unhealthy overpowering sauces and the chicken is always coated in huge amounts of fat.Give me a plain barbecued chicken leg any day.
