I came about your e-mail from the wonderful write-up you did on "dress for interview".
I have just been invited for an interview by an Oil & Gas firm, here in Nigeria, and they expressly stated the dress code to be a BLUE JEANS & a BLACK T-SHIRT.
I have looked everywhere on the internet but I haven't a real advise on this. I would be glad if you can suggest the type of t-shirt I should wear (plain or designed), the footwear(loafers or sneakers-I have a white ben sherman sneakers) and whether I should wear a jacket/blazers (please specify color).
Thanks for time and consideration
Although no one has given you an answer to date and the interview opportunity is long gone, I wanted to throw in my two cents worth. Since you were expressly advised what to wear for that particular interview, then that is what you wear. Clean blue jeans (you can't go wrong in Levis) and a black short sleeve, round neck tshirt with no design. Loafers make a better impression than sneakers, with socks. And a jacket, solid black if you have one would be perfect.

I lost my job about 6 months ago, and I'm thinking about opening a local shoe store and featuring comfort footwear. Anyone willing to share your favorite brands or trends you've noticed in footwear?
