For married couples how many times do you have sex in a week?

   I have done 5 surveys and everyone says that they think 3 is average but then I find out that the real average is twice a month.  So if you can answer the question that would be great, not how much you think but how much you are!

   Yes thank you for asking, I just want to know an average.  What has been happening is that people will say that they think three times is normal but that is what they think....I want to know and many others too, actually how often on average do married couples have sex in a week.  I was really surprised that when people were honest they said twice a month...that is really staggering to me…

      maybe it is 2x a month for the average...i think other items need to be included e.g. gender response; age; working/not; children's age; etc....and you could get different responses from each gender - a spouse could say once a week and the other spouse could say 2x a week....just a thought...i think you'd have to survey couples and not just one sided response.,..that might bring it closer...i don't know.

   There is no average - you are asking the wrong people the wrong question.  If you seriously wanted to know you would have to interview hundreds of thousands of people and then work out how to differentiate the lies from the truth.
   
   The direct answer to your question personally - with my ex-wife for twenty of the thrity years we were in bed together - as little as I could get away with - now with my partner of 2 years and going strong - every time we are not too tired.

      a more serious note, when you interview you would do well to ask both husband and wife togeather, keep it light and a fun conversation and you will get answers, the wife probly more truthfull about it!!!!

   Randy that was funny...lol alone does not count and I did ask husband and wife seperate and believe or not men said three times a week but everyday would work and women said three times a week, but i think that many were actually not being up front.  I found the men to be more honest?  oh well I guess we will never really know....

      I think everyone is different!  Some spouses may not agree to the frequency the other spouse would like!  Or lack of frequency, as the case may be!

   Two friends got married on the same day. They promised to each other to tell each other the number of times they did it on their wedding night by repeating "Good Morning" the number of times they did it.

      Well Mighty mom, so I will give you my humble opinion  of course thats all it is, but if you can get throught the first half of marriage, and the kids are now in elementry school and you and your spouse are still attracted to each other or at least you still like each other, then I think that the real fun can begin......
      So I guess then my answer is if you can make it through ten years, then you can start over again and f-ck like rabbits, becasue as a woman you finally figured out what a g-spot is and how to use it along with your other magic button and at 40 years old the hormones are like a wild rino......
      So maybe that should be the question....
      
      How many times a week do you have sex with your wife in her 40's.......lol

    Statistically speaking the optimum equation is;
    
    100 Jellybeans + months married - 3 years in months + days in summer - days in winter + birthdays & anniversaries - headaches, injuries, broken bones + 42 = once per week, on average.
    
    Also statistically speaking, I have known to be incorrect, on occasion

    About 1-3 times a week I guess.
    
    We're very young and I would much rather do it more often but unfortunately medical issues slow me down. Too often we start and have to stop. But as long as we keep trying I'm happy

       My husband is only home on the weekends so needless to say, he basically loves me every chance he gets... after 22 years together 2-4 times a week is a wonderful thing for both of us!

    I heard about a sex therapy meeting and a speaker asked the same question... one guy in the back was laughing the whole time so the interviewer finally asked him "what was so funny?" - the chap said "we only have sex once a year".... the interviewer said "whats so funny about that?" - the chap replied - "tonight is the night and I can't wait!"
