What was your worst summer job ever?

Just for fun, what was your worst summer job? Traditionally summer is a time for high school and college students to take on summer employment. Which job did you loathe and why? Was it monotonous, disgusting, smelly, or foul in some other way?

Fixing the sewer pipes under an old folks home.  I learned I did not want to be a plumber.

One summer I was working in a custodial department at the University where I was going to school. I got up at 2 a.m. and walked to work where I started my shift at 4:00 a.m. I asked for more hours but I was a little too enthusiastic for my supervisor's tastes. I could complete my shift and get through 2 people's areas in 3 hours instead of 4. To encourage me to quit, my supervisor gave me the job of scraping wax off of the industrial mop buckets with a razor blade.

When I was in high school, I did data entry one summer. It was very boring and I'm a fast (but not always accurate) typist. It was a very long summer.

I worked at a lame theme park in Fukuoka Japan a couple summers in a row. It was called Space World. It was the ugliest little theme park you could possibly imagine. Almost every single surface in the park needed repainting, repaving, refinishing... Everything was rusted and filthy.

I was the guy in the cheap Darth Vader costume that the manager ordered off the internet. It kept breaking. Kids would whack me with lightsabers and my plastic shoulder armor would break off. In-between shifts, I had to reattach it with duct tape.

The suit was the kind that you zip up the back, so I couldn't get into it by myself. My manager assigned a female co-worker (She was about 10 years older than me, and had a really awkward crush on me) to help me in and out of it, and also to lead me around by the hand when I was in the suit, because the mask made it impossible to see anything below eye-level.

the humidity that summer never dipped below 90% After about 10 minutes in the suit I would be drenched in my own sweat.

Yeah, that was the lamest job I've ever had.

As a young teenager I had a summer job babysitting the siblings from Hell.  They were a girl of about nine and her seven year old brother.  Not only were they spoiled and unpleasant, but in one day they managed to break a dozen eggs all over the kitchen, throw a highheeled shoe through a door, and start a fire in the kitchen.  They would always head in opposite directions and while I was after one, the other would do something horrid.  I was making about a dollar an hour and only lasted two weeks.  My parents had to take me to the doctor because they thought I was getting ulcers!

Working at an amusement park food trailer.  One night there were beetles everywhere and it just was disgusting.  I'm not sure why people even came to the window for food!
