caviar, although expensive it looks like what it is fish eggs and tastes disgustingly salty
Liver, it's absolutely disgusting and the texture and after taste is the worst.
Very sugary, very fatty ham that was served cold and cut in cubes. Bleck! (Sneaked it into my napkin after choking down a few bites so as not to offend my hostess.)
OK ..... Have you ever been to Sweden? I have traveled there quite a lot over the years, and have eaten a lot of their traditional foods.
But ...... If EVER a Swede offers you a taste of one of their traditional foods that is a disgusting canned fish; RUN FOR YOUR LIFE!
I am not talking about Picked Herring, which they eat by the tons.
I cannot remember the name of the fish, but sometime in the far past of Swedish history, some drunken Swede figured out a way to can what must be a rotten form of a non-edible fish.
Then, he and his other drunken buddies figured how to add spices and other obviously foul herbs and additives to make it insult the taste buds to the point of driving people to thoughts of cutting their tongues out, IMMEDIATELY, to end the sensual pain.
As I said, I don't remember the name of this inhumanly foul dish, but the average Swede will buy this stuff (I really can't call it food), and try to trick the rest of the world into eating it.
When confronted, tell them to eat first. If their eyes don't roll back in their heads. If sweat doesn't break out on their brow. If their stomach doesn't immediately start to roll, and growl back at you. IF all of these don't happen in the first minute after eating this traditional dish of theirs, you have a 20% chance that it isn't what I have described.
PS: I swear, the cans I saw had already started to turn to rust from what they contained.
This is the worst ...... No holds Barred!
Anyone know the name of this SWEDISH DELICACY!
definitely polenta! We were forced as kids to eat polenta in a boarding school in Santiago, Chile, and it was awful. Even to today I cannot even stand the smell of polenta and will not try it ever again! Yucch!
The worst food I have ever eaten was fermented clam sauce.
It was served to me at a very elegant Italian restaurant as a topping on a pasta dish (at about $55.00 per plate).
I can't describe the initial shock to my tastebuds or the resulting revulsion that followed.
The horrific taste stayed with me for a couple of days.
I love you! God loves you despite your failures! i dont think your a failure. Please let us be able to talk to you even if you never come home. All I ask is a chance to talk to you. Thats all we all want. I pray you get this message. Give us a chance to love you! You may not love us anymore but we love you still and always will! Please give us the option to talk to you! You may not feel the need but I still need you I need my dad! Im begging you to give me the chance to show you how much you mean to me and how much I really do care about you and how much I really do look up to you! I dont understand whats made you go this way. I dont understand how u can have an amazing marriage for 28 years and then just walk out when the love is still alive! I planned on surprising you at christmas with a grandchild. You have always talked about that and I wanted you to have the chance to enjoy them! Even if you never come back to stay here give us a way to stay in contact with you. I want you a part of my kids life!

What was your worst summer job ever?Just for fun, what was your worst summer job? Traditionally summer is a time for high school and college students to take on summer employment. Which job did you loathe and why? Was it monotonous, disgusting, smelly, or foul in some other way?
