What is a wordpress plugin, how do I install one and how are they useful?
A plugin is a coded script that can be added to Wordpress. A plugin adds functionality to a basic Wordpress blog structure. The idea is that bloggers need only add the plugins that they have need of.

A plugin is a script that performs a particular work on your blog; BuggyPress for example helps your readers bookmark your blog.
To install, first search the plugin you want to install from:
http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/ and download it --> unzip it ---> upload the folder via ftp --> install it from within your dashboard.

WordPress plug-ins is very easy to install, and even if you do not have any prior knowledge you can easily install it on your own.
