    Code 8868: College:Professional Employees & Clerical. There are some specific state restrictions/exceptions to this code but in general it only applies to the "professional employees", clerical and in certain assistants...."maintenance workers" should be considered non-professionals and would not be included under this code. The appropriate code for maintenance workers employed in a school or college setting should be 9101, College:All Other Employees. This code specifically addresses and includes those employees engaged in the care and maintenance of college or school buildings grounds and equipment.
