It is not about the number of views but about the number of clicks on advertisements that are displayed near your hubs. You can see your earnings by logging into Google AdSense.
For me, it was around $5.00 per 1000 impressions that generated around 12 or so ad clicks........it's the ad clicks that earn you the money. It takes so many impressions to get an ad click depending on your topics.
This figure will vary depending on the amount of revenue your ads generate which is different for different keywords that you use. Google tries to match the ads they place on your hubs to the keywords you use in those hubs. Finance and travel, for example, are high paying keywords whereas something like jewelry pays poorly.
