Do you think most teachers do a good job and deserve more support from parents and taxpayers?
i don't think teachers are as dedicated as they were 25 or more years ago but on average they are pretty good. do they deserves more money
I believe tenure is ruining the integrity of teachers. I went to public school and had amazing teachers in their first few years who were fired on fabricated accusations because it was cheaper to bring in new blood. At the same time, those teachers with tenure had massive fail-out rates in their classes.
In short, I believe a teacher's salary and employment should be based on performance and student approval, not time spent there.
