Make a habit of looking, even if it is just the paper or getting search updates from job site. Do it every day. Even if you aren't finding anything, this will help build your confidence a bit. After awhile (if low self esteemers are similar) this will motivate you to refine your search; searching for jobs that you might actually want. The theory is (this is how it worked for me in my job searches) that you will eventually be knocking on their doors (literally or on the web), putting your face and name at the top of their lists of people to hire.
