What is your dream profession that you wish you could do and get paid lots of money for?
Mine would be a rollercoaster tester and designer. I think it would be a fun job, that is very different from the typical 9 to 5 job. Everyday would bring something different.
I would hate to have a typical answer considering the HubPages platform is a writing site. However, it would simply have to be 'writing'.
That's easy for me. I've wanted to be a writer since I was a little girl. :-) Now, if only I could find a way to make a living at it.
I always wanted to be a movie star! Instead I wound up being a teacher...less money but a constant audience!
Funny, but it's what I'm doing now, developing educational resources and delivering workshops to teachers. I taught for so many years and always wanted to get into this area, but mortgages always got in the way and there was no internet. Now there is no mortgage and 12 months ago I made the transition. The only thing lacking at the moment is being paid "lots of money". I'm making money, don't get me wrong, but not enough for the chalet in France.
I would like to be a copywriter. That would allow me to work from home by my own rules, and earn good money. This is not just a dream for me, I'm on the way to fulfil this one day as I'm already studying copywriting.
I think I would like to be a top actor, they seem to get loads of money and live a good life style.
Professional Baseball player who was hall of fame worthy would be my next choice
I would love to be a travel/landscape photographer that could travel the most exotic places of the world, while still make a decent living.

What's the one thing you'll never do even if you were paid lots of money? It's not intended to be a sexual thing. Could be eating raw slugs, dating that guy from high school, sky diving, etc.

What profession do you think is radically over-paid? Which profession deserves a higher salary?

Should stay-at-home moms be given a salary in return for their work?Periodically, there are debates about whether to compensate stay-at-home moms for their work in caring for their children and their home. What do you think about this idea?

With budgets being tight and homeowners feeling the pinch, the simple question comes up...are teachers overpaid? Their pay comes directly from taxes and thus a raise for them is a raise in taxes. Is this justified?

What if someone paid for you to go anywhere you wanted tomorrow. Where would you go and why?
