Do you, or anyone you know, work in customer/technical support online and from home?
It's a job that has alwaus interested me, especially as I cannot go out to work, but it seems very difficult to find genuine vacancies let alone beat the stiff competition. Have you ever or do you know anyone who does this work? If so are there any links/pointers you can give to anyone wanting to break into remote customer service or technical support jobs working for a genuine company (no selling or 'exciting business opportunities')

I work for cha cha answering people's questions. You hardly make anything per question but if you're fast enough, it can be a little extra money.
I did customer service for a company called Alpine Access for years. I worked on accounts for Pizza Hut, 1-800 flowers and Office Depot. Working from home was great, but they schedule you so that you aren't paid for any breaks, it's only part time and not much above minimum wage, and they don't offer benefits of any kind. Overall it was a great experience getting to work from home,
