How do you sort out tax for affiliate marketing endevours for the UK?
I am a UK citizen and am wondering how you go about paying tax on money earned from affiliate marketing. I am a member of Hubpages and Squidoo and I also have several blogs and the money that I am earning from them in my spare time is begginning to increase so I would like to sort out any tax issues that may arise. I do not want to end up with a huge tax bill on my doorstep.
i am not an tax expert. my common sense tells me that if you are a uk citizen, and if you reside in uk, then you have to file uk income tax.
I'm also in the UK. What you should do is register as self employed (you're supposed do to this within 3 months of starting self employed work). Then the tax office will send you a tax form each year to complete.
